Pett’s Preschool: Using the ECD Quality Reflection Tool



Research shows that an increased understanding of quality in Early Childhood Development (ECD) can lead to improved care and teaching practices to the benefit of children. It was for this reason that the BRIDGE ECD Community of Practice developed the ECD Quality Reflection Tool – targeted at ECD practitioners who deal with children directly on a daily basis. The benefit of using the Quality Reflection Tool as a means for improved practice is illustrated in the following success story.
