Established in 2009 by Martin Moshal, the Moshal Scholarship Program currently provides scholarships to over 700 Moshal Scholars in Israel, South Africa and the Ukraine to enable determined young people from challenging backgrounds to attend the top universities in their home countries.
Over the next few weeks, BRIDGE will be profiling a handful of Moshal Scholarship recipients who are also impact school almuni. Impact schools are high-quality, achievement-orientated schools that provide disadvantaged learners across South Africa with affordable access (low fee or non-fee) to high-quality learning that prepares them for success in higher education and the world of work.
First up is Thabile Ngcobo. Read ahead to learn about the young scholar’s experience winning the scholarship, her formative years spent at Inanda Seminary and her future aspirations.
